We decided to recognize the hottest wives and girlfriends (WAGs) in the game by putting together a starting lineup that’ll invoke more debate than any regular All-Star team: The hottest lady friends of major league players at each position.
We’ll dive in by taking a big lead and trying our best not to get thrown out at second base.
Pitcher: Julia Schultz

The Playmate of the Month for February, 1998, is married to journeyman pitcher Brett Tomko. Schultz has also acted in movies like The Nutty Professor II and Rush Hour 2. Tomko is pitching on an Oakland minor league team. We’re hoping for a speedy big league return for the 37-year-old hurler so we can see his better half in the stands.
Catcher: Laura Posada

Seriously, how does a unibrowed looking dork like Jorge Posada - who pisses on his hands before games to grip the bat better - pull a girl like this? Good for him. It gives guys like us hope we can all get a hottie someday. That is of course if we were all multimillionaires and played for the Yankees.
First base: Krystle Campbell

The girlfriend of Phillies slugger Ryan Howard was first seen with him at the Super Bowl in February. It was later revealed that she actually is a former Eagles cheerleader – she was on the squad for six years – and also is the ex-girlfriend of Flyers forward Jeff Carter. Hey, chicks dig the long ball.
Second base: Diana Roberts

Brian Roberts has appeared in only six games for the last-place Orioles this season because of back problems, but we’re sure he has no problem looking for a massage at home. Diana was named Ms. FHM in 2006 and is a mix of Swedish and Italian descent. That’s what we call being a multi-tool player.
Third base: Cameron Diaz

Listen, we didn’t want to do this, but third base is really devoid of talent in the Majors. Diaz has been seen with Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez and is smoking hot in her own right. But there isn’t much competition at all for Charlie’s Angel. Attention to third baseman around the league – step your game up.
Shortstop: Jennifer Lopez

Upset alert! Most people wanted Minka Kelly here, but just take one look at the hotter Jennifer Lopez and you will see that I made the right call. No, not the singer, the wife of Cardinals journeyman shortstop Felipe Lopez, who also has played for the Blue Jays, Reds, Brewers, Blue Jays and Diamondbacks. She must be a big fan of travel.
Left field: Lisa Dergan

Scott Podsednik somehow managed to lock this down. Dergan is a former Playmate, plays golf, is fluent in Japanese and is a sideline reporter who has covered events from the Super Bowl to Kentucky Derby. Podsednik is hitting .309 this season and batting even better in his personal life.
Center field: Rihanna

The famous singer has caught the attention of fans around the league by starting a relationship with Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp. Rihanna also knows how to make an impact: Kemp has been in a season-long slump after appearing ready to emerge as one of the premier players in the league after a solid 2009.
Please don’t stop the music, Matt.
Right field: Jamie Kotsay

Jamie Kotsay is really the reason we came up with this list. The picture of her playing at a soft ball game has been an internet sensation. Mark Kotsay, her husband, spends most of his days as a DH for the White Sox, and many people are more familiar with Jamie’s stats than Mark’s.
